Day 1 Nairobi transfer

Welcome to Nairobi, the green city in the sun! It is the only city in the world with a national park. It is a melting pot where diverse cuisine and culture meets with urban style and a sense of fashion, capped off with a vibrant nightlife. You will arrive at JKIA Airport where you will be met by our team outside the customs and immigration halls for meet and greet. You will then be transferred at the camp to the hotel for check-in and an overnight stay at Argyle Hotel. 

Day 2: Tsavo West

Start your safari in Nairobi our company representative will meet you for your safari Briefing then you with be transferred to the iconic Tsavo West National Park. Explore vast plains, volcanic landscapes, and diverse wildlife, including the “Big Five,” on a thrilling game drive. Arrive at Man Eater Safari Camp. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the camp as wildlife gathers nearby, followed by an afternoon game drive to spot different animal species, e.g. elephants. End your day with a delightful dinner at the camp, immersed in the sounds of the wild. Relax under the African night sky before retiring to your room for a peaceful night.

Day 3: Tsavo West

After breakfast, set out for a morning wildlife drive. This time of day is ideal for observing predators such as lions and leopards, who are frequently active before the heat of the day sets in. lunch at Man Eater camp. The park’s rich habitat varies from broad
plains to deep bushland, providing fresh sensations with each drive. Visit Mzima Springs, a tranquil oasis fed by Mount Kilimanjaro’s underground rivers, where hippos and crocodiles bask in clear waters. You will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Man Eater Safari Camp 

Day 4: Tsavo West – Amboseli 

We will depart early in the morning after breakfast towards Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at Nyati camp. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. One of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up-close. On a clear evening you can catch a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Nyati camp 

Day 5: Amboseli

This being a full day in the Amboseli, you will have the option of a full day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives. As your safari is private your game drive timings are flexible. Convenient if travelling with children when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. Amboseli is the home to great herds of elephants and with the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro it is a Favorite spot for photographers. Also to be found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeest, buffaloes, gazelles and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. During clear days, you may also view the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the tallest mountain in Africa. There is also a chance to visit the local communities in their nearby villages at an extra cost. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Nyati camp

Day 6: Lake Naivasha

You will have breakfast then check out of the lodge. You will then proceed to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at L Naivasha West Beach camp. The Lake is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. You will also visit
Crescent Island. This is a private Island on Lake Naivasha that rose to fame after the 1985 movie “Out of Africa” that showcased the beautiful nature of Lake Naivasha and its surrounding. It can be described as an animal sanctuary or simply a little paradise. The amazing thing is that you get to talk a nature walk among these animals without fear of harm or danger. Your dinner and
overnight stay will be at L Naivasha West Beach camp

Day 7: Maasai mara national reserve 

You will have breakfast and then drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Masai Mara as you head to your camp. You will arrive at Mara Sunset camp in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, you will enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. You may be lucky to spot lions, cheetahs and other
spectacular predators as the highlight of your tour. You will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 to 9: Maasai mara

You will be taken on two game drives today, in the morning before breakfast and in the late afternoon. One of these mornings you will have bush breakfast to enjoy the beautiful sunrise in the mara. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can
provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture. Take a
pre-dawn hot air balloon (at your own cost) ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks. Your driver-guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.

Day 10: Nakuru national park

You will have breakfast and then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will check in at Punda Mulia Camp for lunch and have some time for leisure in the afternoon.  The park is a world-class bird-watching safari destination and is fondly referred to as a bird-watcher’s paradise. The park has more than 25 black rhinoceros plus around 70 white rhinos. There are also a number of Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, lions, cheetahs and leopards. Later, you will drive to Punda Mulia Camp for dinner and
an overnight stay. 

Day 11: Lake Nakuru

You will have breakfast we will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park including visits to viewpoints which offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Later, you will drive to Punda Mulia Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 12: Ol Pejeta 

You will have breakfast and then depart to the predator-rich Ol Pejeta Conservancy with a stopover at the equator crossing. The conservancy also contains 2 prominent sanctuaries, one for chimpanzees and another for rhinos. You will arrive and
check in at Aberdare prestige & Royal Cottages followed by lunch. In the afternoon, you will head for a game drive in the conservancy. The conservancy has great numbers of wildlife including all of the Big Five; elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Aberdare prestige & Royal Cottages 

Day 13: Samburu national reserve 

After breakfast at 7:00 a.m., you will drive to Samburu Game Reserve and check in at Lion cave camp Samburu in time for lunch. Samburu Game Reserve is well known for the rare northern species such as Grevy’s zebra, the Somali ostrich, the
reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk, Guenther’s dik-dik and the beisa oryx, collectively known as the Samburu special six. In the late afternoon, you will depart for a game drive until sunset. You will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 14: Samburu national reserve 

You will go on an early morning game drive, returning to the camp for breakfast. You will spend the day relaxing and enjoying the camp’s facilities or you can go on another game drive if you wish. You will have lunch at the camp. You will go on an afternoon game drive at 4:00 p.m. in the reserve until sunset. There is an optional visit to a Samburu village (additional cost). You will drive back to the lodge for bush dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 15: Samburu

After breakfast, embark on morning game drive then you will return to the camp for check out. Lunch will not be provided on this day but you will have a stopover the lunch (own cost). Later depart and drive back to Nairobi and arrive in the
evening

Shipping Policy

When booking your holiday directly with Golden Oriole Adventures Ltd Kenya or with your travel agent, please quote the tour number or your own specialized itinerary, intended date for arrival and departure, number of people traveling and sleeping arrangements. This will ensure that our arrangements are to your satisfaction. A 60% deposit is required for confirmation 3 months before intended departure with the balance to be settled 30 days before arrival prior to commencement of the tour. We will receipt your money, thereby confirming your safari. If a reservation is made less 3 months of departure, the entire amount must be made at the time of confirmation.

Refund Policy

CANCELLATIONS: Full refund will be provided if cancellation occurs in writing 60 days prior to commencement of a safari. Refund on all pre-paid money will be based on cancellation fees levied by hotels and lodges. Generally, there is a 50% charge on cancellation within 14- 35days, 75% charge within 2 - 14 days, and 100% charge within 48 hours. We reserve the right to deduct all expenses incurred from money paid.
